This eBook, titled “Modern Advanced Accounting in Canada 8th Edition,” is a valuable resource for Canadian accounting students and anyone interested in the Canadian accounting system. The textbook is widely recognized as the most technically accurate advanced accounting textbook currently available on the market.

The 8th edition of the book is fully compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), covering topics like business combinations, foreign currency transactions, as well as intermediate accounting and other courses. It also includes reporting requirements for not-for-profit organizations and private enterprises, and all financial statement extracts are from Canadian entities.

The emphasis on direct preparation of consolidated financial statements and the development of the basics of consolidations using a building block approach has been maintained and strengthened. The working paper approach is illustrated in Chapters 3-5, either in the body of the chapter or the appendices.
