Feldman’s Lifespan Development: A Topical Approach, 5th Edition (PDF) takes a comprehensive look at the process of development throughout a person’s life. The author, Robert Feldman, organizes the material to make it easier to understand the overall development within specific areas, such as social or personality development, across the entire lifespan. The 5th Edition covers current topics, including the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on all aspects of development. Updated chapter-opening prologues discuss issues like gender identity and homeschooling in relation to the topics covered in each chapter. The updated From Research to Practice features provide insight into how developmental research can be applied, for instance in addressing the effects of screen time on children and managing palliative care.
