Vanessa Ratten

Dr. Vanessa Ratten is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Department of Management at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. She teaches Managing Innovation in Organisations, Entrepreneurial Business Planning, and Entrepreneurship. She has previously been on the business faculty of the University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Duquesne University and Deakin University (Australia).

Vanessa got a PhD from the University of Queensland, which focused on the role of organisational learning in the Information and Communication Technology industry.

 

Entrepreneurship is the end result of assorted contextual elements in the group, that are molded by social challenges and enterprise wants. Current analysis efforts have centered on the dynamics of communities and how they assist entrepreneurship amongst a various group of individuals and organizations. Entrepreneurship and the Community (PDF) highlights analysis on the significance of communities and their function in offering an entrepreneurial ecosystem that encourages innovation and enterprise actions.
