Dr. Robert M. Julien, M.D., earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Washington. His numerous academic works emphasize the psychopharmacology of tranquilizers and antiepileptic medications.

Dr. Julien, a retired anesthesiologist formerly an associate professor of pharmacology and anesthesiology at the Oregon Health Sciences University, is now a psychopharmacology consultant in Portland, Oregon.
