The fully revised and expanded textbook, A Brief on Experimental Biophysics: Biological Techniques for Physical Scientists 2nd edition, serves as an optimal launchpad for any science scholar or investigator in physical sciences to gain a strong foundation in the procedures adopted in molecular biophysics and quantitative biology. The latest version contains new chapters on advanced techniques in holography, biological light microscopy (two-photon, super-resolution, and fluorescence lifetime imaging), gene expression techniques, and gold nanoparticles’ medicinal use, among others. The author provides practical suggestions and specialized knowledge to make complicated techniques more readily understandable. The reader is led through straightforward examples that are carried out from beginning to end, with the author’s valuable practical advice and inside knowledge. The emphasis is on developing proficiency in fundamental methods and, eventually, comprehending when and how to use or adjust them to address various questions.
